  1. yes i agree with him i would not have signed the confession just so the judges would be saved from public humiliation. I wouldn't tarnish my name for my life or for their reputation.

  2. Yes I agree with what he did because if he didn;t rip it up he would be known as a once known devil worshiper and in those times not many people would accept him back. His children would have to look at him as a sinner, a rule breaker at that. I would have done the same thing as him.

  3. i would tear up the paper as well because the people of salem are crazy and don't deserve the goodness John Proctor has brought to salem.

  4. I agree with John Procter for many reasons. The first reason as to why i agree with John Procter tearing up the paper is because he brought so much to the town of Salem and wasn't treated the way he should have been. Another reason is that his rep. would be ruined, and why would some one want that. John Procter made a good choice when he ripped up that paper.

  5. I agree with the decision he made, my tearing the paper. I agree with his choice because back in the days your reputation mattered a lot. If John Proctor wouldn't teared the paper, all of Salem would of seen it. That would cause a terrible reputation for the Proctor family. It would make his children shameful of him. John is a man that did a lot for Salem and i disagree with the fact of how they treated him.
