Boston tea party

I think that the Boston Tea party was most significant. The Boston Tea Party was a protest against the British on tea imported by the American colonies. Colonists boarded British ships in Boston harbor and dumped the tea over the ships. I think that this is so significant because they lost SO much money and were never able to fully recover from it. It might seem crazy in today times, but back then it was such an insult and almost a slap in the face that the British had dumped so much money in tea, overboard. Also, they were never fully able to get British back and then British just wanted to call it quits, but we wanted payback. As prices started to go up, peoples income and money went down. There was no easy way to overcome what the British has done.

  1. I agree, it was a terrible thing for the British. They probably felt extremely mad for losing so much tea.
