  1. I think the book " The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn" should be in high school English, because it shows how people used to talk back when people had slaves. yes the " N" word is used many times in this book but i think it shows how people used to talk and how that word used to hurt people and it might still hurt people today. Also, i think people like in the movie over reacted to this book. In school or even in life school and people are going to do things you don't like. we still have to do these things though.

  2. "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" is a famous book that has been liked by many, from all different cultures. "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" has an offending word, that will hurt many people, but the point of the book is not to hurt others but to show how effective the word is. The "N" words is used lots of times, but people should always remember the word is not used against you, its used to teach people a lesson.I think this book should be taught in schools, because it will teach others a lesson of being more respectful. I haven't read this book but, since so many people like it I think its appropriate enough for high school students to read it. I also think that teachers should be very careful of how their explaining the book. Students that are offended should always remember that this book is not meant to offend you or hurt you in anyway. I understand that others might be very hurt when reading this book. That's why I think it shouldn't be required in every English class. Students that might be offended by this book can choice to take a different class that doesn't require reading this book.
