Quarter 4, Week 2 - The Things They Carried
In The Things They Carried, each chapter is a new story, elaborating on different characters within the war. So far, which story has most profoundly affected you? In other words, which story do you find most interesting? Explain why using details from the text.

The story that had the biggest impact on me was the one with Marry Anne. She was so innocent,when she arrived at war. Every solider thought that she was lovely but none of them expected her to be this interested in the war. Marry Anne changed a lot,she even surprised her boyfriend Marc. She disappeared many times and no one knew where she was at. She did strange things such as wearing a necklace of teeth around her neck. This story didn't surprise me much because I have heard of weirder stories but it did change my perspective of how fast people's mind can change. This story taught me that people can change in a blink of an eye and you may never even know why.
