  1. I believe Martin Luther King Jr. had a huge effect on the people during the Civil Rights Movement. Martin Luther King Jr. gave a speech that changed America. Part of the reason why the United States of America is a free country today is because of the amazing speech Martin Luther King Jr. gave “I have a Dream”. “I have a Dream” is a speech about everyone being equal and free. I believe his speech gave people confidence in themselves and strength to expect more from this country. “I Have a Dream” is one of the most influenced speeches in the history because it touched people and gave them more knowledge of their surroundings. It didn’t matter what religion, race or gender you were, but what is your character.
