Norman Bowker
In every book that you read there is always just that one thing in the book that just stays on your mind. The one thing that stuck on my mind from the book was Norman Bowker's story. His story tells you what the war is really like, how it affects you in so many different ways, what it makes your brain think like, and also their life when they return home after the war. Norman had to see his best friends die right in front of him. Also when Norman came home there was no one there for him, no one to support him, and no one to care for him, so he took away his own life. This was the story that had the most impact on me.

I agree with Colin. Norman was a very interesting charter. He had a lot of up's and downs which made him a interesting guy to read about.
