I would have to say that seeing my friend up there reading her own piece was the highlight. In a way I envy her for having the guts to do writers week a 2nd time, even a first time. I know that with my stuttering I could never do something like that. But what i can do is cheer my friend on when she is up there, which I did. If i could see one person up there I would have to say I would want to hear a writer, student or other), who is deaf. You hear a lot of good writing during the week and a lot of it is really good, however I would like to SEE someone's writing. I want to see what a person who doesn't have what us normal people have at Fremd. I think that just speaking in Sign Language is a beautiful thing that even if their peice is bad you are still awed by the language.
