If i were Truman, i would have a very hard time trying to keep everyone calm. Every one would be so used to having an awesome president like Roosevelt, that it would be hard to live up too him. I think i would try and get everyone on the same page, so we could all agree on what to do, and then no one would hate me. I would try and help everyone get over the death by making things better. I would try and get all the people on my side so that they see that there are other hero's out there too. I would not tell people bad things about Roosevelt but i would try to live up to his name. I would try to pull out of the war, because we needed to stand together. There would be so many more reasons why we should set goals and try to accomplish them. We could prove that we didn't only need Roosevelt, but we needed each other. Someone else like me could step up and be a leader, and i would prove to the people that i could do it.
