WW18

The past week when our class was at writers week 18, all of the writers were amazing and had great pieces of work. However, the number one student that I personally think was the highlight of writers week was Kelly Doherty. During her tragic story about her little sister that passed away of a brain tumor, she started to cry. Although she was crying , she still read on and stayed strong and finished her sad story and I give her props for that. I think it takes a lot of guts to present in writers week, and I think it took even more guts to share such a tragic story about a lost family member and it is another reason on why I think Kelly was the highlight. Also, if I could hear one specific person to hear speak at writers week, I would have to choose Dane Cook. I would want Dane Cook talk at writers week because I believe that he would make it incredibly funny and entertaining because he is a comedian. I also think his pieces that he came up with would be very unique and funny.
