Women In The 1950s
As we talked about women in the 1950's, the most thing that stood out for me was the fact that they had to be stay home wives, not talk about their feelings but listen to their husband, and make their home a peaceful place for their him. I think it was unfair because women didnt really have a life of their own, but take care of other people. They were also not happy in their marriages because they never got to tell anyone about how they really feel. These days theres no marriage that can survive because the society has changed and women have gained more power over men. Unlike back then in the 50's when they had to be the perfect wife and strive for a perfect family!

I agree with you, back then women had some many responsibilites to worry about and weren't treated fairly. They were only seen as "stay at home wives". But today women have so much more freedom and power.
