Big Impact from First Semester

The biggest impact of history we have learned from first semester would have to be the final decision of forming the United States. This all started following the Revolution and its aftermath, when the Constitution was signed, therefore sealing the deal with Britain and finally forming a country on good intentions. Throughout the years after the signing, we have experienced traumatizing situations, like the Civil War, which almost destroyed the foundations of what our founding father's intended to build. We prevailed, nonetheless. Then, with the chaos that ensued during World War I, we managed to pull through the hardships of war. In all ends, we learned what could happen if America wasn't built on the foundations of a free democracy. Here's to a brighter future for our country, because we see it coming towards us.
