I feel that the north winning the civil war made the biggest impact on american history. America would not be anywhere even close to how we are now compared to if the south won. There could still be slaves today working for us. It would have changed our laws our equality basically the big immagration era could have not even occured. Wars would have been different other countries would probably still had slaves we very well might have not been the powerhouse country we are today if it wasnt for the north winning.
