Gatsby's Dream

I think Gatsby wanted people to like him. He wanted Daisy to fall in love with him, but that didn't work, he threw parties so people could meet him. Also I think he wanted everyone to like him, Daisy didn't marry him because he was poor and she wasn't. He almost got his dream, but he didn't. If he tried harder I think his dreams would come true.
