In the Year 2112...

In one hundred years, the students will be learning something that is in fact a turning point in the Iraqi War and a brutal blow to Middle Eastern forces. The death of Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind behind the September Eleventh attacks, killed by a Navy SEAL in a (not-so) secret compound located in Pakistan. Students will also learn about the improvement of technology used to locate the evil leader of the Al-Qaeda group, known to have attacked American soil on a tragic Tuesday late summer morning. Barack Obama's speech delivered after the death of Bin Laden was a reminder that the battle is far from over and that there was more to be done. In fact, the rest of the Iraqi War was history when Obama pulled all troops from Iraq at the end of 2011, therefore ending the eight-year struggle.
