the biggest thing that happend

I personally think that the north winning the civil war was a big thing. I think it changed how people thought about the North because they knew we wont just there to mess around we want a change. Winning this war helped change how we all treated people. also, if this never happened we might still be living where black and whites where treated differently. today, we still have people who don't totally agree with whites and blacks dating and stuff like that. our grandparents went through that and still have a strong feeling about this. winning the civil war had a big impact on how People acted how people lived their lives. Yes the war is bad but in this case by winning this war we made something right out of a bad situation.
