the new deal
I think the biggest new deal was the CCC. When FDR took office he created many programs designed to put americans back to work. He concentrated on creating jobs. By FDR providing jobs this gave all the men enough money to provide for their own families, such as buying food and clothes. The CCC was also known as Roosevelt's tree army. They created forests by planting three billion trees from 1933-1942. This help rebuild towns that were effected by the dust storm. The CCC was responsible for more than half the reforestation.

I agree with you if FDR had not formed the CCC people would not have being able to get back on their feet to support their family. The CCC was the one that got people back on their feet.
