There are lots of pros and cons for living like they did in the great gatsby. One pro would be that really nice houses that kept them safe and sound. Another pro would be that there was always food for them to eat. Third would be that they had vehicles to transport themselves. Now i will share some cons for the great gatsby. One con would be that they wouldn't spend a lot of time together with one another. Another would be that they waste money on dumb things that aren't needed. The adults always acted immature and would party a lot like kids. Now the pros for the Great Depression were that they appreciated every little thing such as running water. Another pro would be that they spent a lot of time together, with each other. Third would be that everything was a lot cheaper. Now here are some cons for living in the Great Depression. One is that lots of people didn't have any money period. Another would be that tons of people were without a job. And lastly would be that some people didn't even have a house to live in or had gotten evicted.
