Comparison Between the 20s & the 30s
The 1920s and the 1930s were really eventful. In fact, the events were cataclysmic. During the 20s, a lot of people were very affluent, meaning that they could do anything anytime. The Americans also had a sense of fun when it came to "partying". However, that fun ended when the Depression during the 30s took away the money and left the American people without anything. Most familys lost everything, from furniture to heat, electricity and food, mainly the necessities. However, there were some events that took place in the 30s when people could escape the reality of the Depression and see some entertainment. In ends, the time between 1920s and the end of World War II were eventful.

I agree with you Ed there was a lot of cataclysmic events in the 20’s and 30’s. The people did have to sell a lot of necessities like their furniture and their livestock if they had animals. People did suffer a lot during the depression, but they also had a lot of fun during the 20’s.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Ed. People during the great depression were suffering because people did not even have enough food to survive for a week. During the roaring twenties people were "partying" and were not even appreciative of what they did have.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Ed. He said that during the Depression a lot of people had to get rid of their things just to have money for them to live on.
